DAA ARC Chronograph
19 May 2025
I received the DAA ARC Chronograph last weekend, just in time to test the 9mm ammo I’d been loading for the upcoming shooting season. I had recently switched primer brands midway through my loading session and was a bit concerned about load consistency—so I was eager to see how they performed. The ARC Chrono arrived neatly packed in a padded carrying case, containing two arcs and the main unit. Assembly was a breeze—took me all of 20 seconds. After popping in some AA batteries, I was nearly ready to go. I downloaded the ARC app onto my Android phone, powered up the chrono, and connected it to the app without a hitch. Setup was straightforward, and a big plus is that the app doesn’t require an internet connection—great for those remote ranges where cell signal is spotty. While the app offers a lot of cool features, this review won’t dive into those. I was shooting from about 1.5 meters away, directly through the arc, and every shot was captured without a single issue. Velocity readings were consistent across the board—which, to be fair, I was hoping for. Even though it’s an optical chronograph, the ARC handled changing light conditions throughout the afternoon and evening better than my previous unit from another brand. No missed shots, no weird readings. Yes, it’s physically larger than the compact radar-style chronos, but it’s also not going to set you back $600. At about half the price (or less), it’s a very solid and cost-effective option.

DAA 2-in-1 Seating and Crimping Die
18 May 2025
I have the 9 mm. and the .223 dies and both work like a charm. However, the .223 die is somewhat short (for my Dillon XL650). Had to switch to another lockring to secure it, and it's still just at the limit. Not possible to adjust crimp at all. So about 1/2" longer would be better. This causes the 5:th star to drop.

Universal Rollsizer

Oh this machine is really worth every penny. I'm so glad it fixed my problem with my brass. Now I roll size every peice of brass for all my calibers I reload for. The brass should last forever, so to speak. And thanks to the guys here at double alpha. They got it out to me right away. Excellent shipping speed. And if you get one of these roll sizers and have a problem or question, just reach out to rollsizer and you just might wind up talking g yo the owner. Great bunch of guys at Rollsizer.com. can't say enough good thi gs about this gadget.

DAA Turbo Case-Feeder Plate - pistol all calibers
16 May 2025
It is an improvement compared with the original Dillon feeder plate. I use it with my case roller that rolls around 7.000 rounds per hour. I guess it’s an improvement around 30-40%.
