When I first got my unit, I had an issue with it failing to home….
I emailed DAA and had a reply from them within the hour with directions on how to adjust the digital stall sensitivity of the step motor. I adjusted that – and it now works great!
It took me just few minutes to setup, and since then I’ve run 5,000 cases through it – without a glitch. I’ve not seen one single up-side-down case, or a .380 make it to my shell plate. I love this thing!

My press is autodrived and I've faced huge issues messing with wrong caliber cases before. I,ve been waiting for such a device for so long and finally I got mine auto case sorter a week ago, since then I'm super happy with it. At first I had some issues as the device couldn't distinguish 9x19 from 9x18, a huge problem in my area. I must say, DAA support is awesome and they came up with an elegant solution - programming the device with four 9x19 cases and one 9x21. The device calculates the average height, so as a result it started to work flawlessly preventing my press from jamming and stopping caused by a missing case on the shellplate or DAA bullet feeder not dropping a bullet. I highly recommend the auto sorter, especially for automated reloading presses.

The ACS saves me a lot of time since I no longer have to sort each case by hand. Installation and set up is a breeze. Performance so far has been exceptional. All of my Double Alpha products exceed my expectations.

I load a lot, this year close to 40k of 9mm and I want to really like this product. However, I’m not totally warmed up to it yet. I had problems right away with the shuttle not homing correctly. I ran it at 1500 rph okay, but when pushed to the 3500 rph of the Mark7 drive on my 1050 it started to rejected a lot of good brass.
At the moment it is back in its box, not sure what I will do next.
DAA:
After some back and forth support with John, the unit's sensitivity has been adjusted and it's now running as it should, even at 3500rph
