Works great but I can’t use it because the two in one die did not work for me ?

This is much better than original unit. More accurate, and I have confidence in it. I taped on a visual indicator (paper arrow) so that if I hit a limit slightly, I can tell if it is high or low limit. Made initial adjustment and haven't had to reset yet.

I have bought a lot of products from DA and have always 110% satisfied with everything. Their support system is beyond expectations and they have just about everything I want BUT a lot I can't afford.

Very happy with this powder monitor. Works as advertised, easy to set up. Currently installed on my Hornady progressive, plan to purchase another for my Dillon.

I would not recommend this product. I am using it in 45 ACP with a spherical powder (MP190) and it beeps at me about 4 out of every 5 rounds, no matter how many times I try to reset it. I was stopping production to weigh charges but they were always + or - 3 tenths of a grain of what I was going for.

Great, but gives false alerts every 20 or so rounds. I used to remove the case to check powder (always good), but now I just rotate the magnet a little and the alarm goes off. Have adjusted and readjusted, still can't get this to stop. Overall, very good tool.

Only four stars from me because I found one drawback in this otherwise perfect product. When checking 9mm pistol loads, the "piston" on the measuring rod causes an air "overpressure", forcing several granules of powder out of the case. And thus, creating a powder spill (and lowering the load consistency, even on hard to measure levels). When reloading some 1000 cases in one session, there was spilled powder all over the place because of this. Finally, I had to stop using it for this caliber.

Very nice and only alerts when a case is present. A cheap investment to avoid an incorrect charge.

These are great when setup properly. I have one setup on all my tool heads for each caliber I reload.

This powder check works OK. Nice that it has both an audio and a visual warning. My experience was that it was more "finicky" to set up and adjust the alarm levels than the Dillon powder check. Perhaps it was me. I was using it on an XL650 for 9mm.

Second one I purchased for my other Dillon Quick Change. Simple to install AND it has saved several no powder and 1 double load in my 147 9mm. $65 buck well spent!!!

Exceeded my expectations. Pretty simple to set up, and with a little care and attention during set up and change over I'm able to get consistent results.
Audible and visual alarms provide dual sensory inputs, and for me, a valuable addition to my reloading process.

Once adjusted is very good. Difficult but not impossible to adjust. The problem is when the correct amount of powder is in the case, it is difficult to hold the stem still while getting magnet at just the right height and then tighten the allen key. Then run the press and it will beep when the next round has the correct charge, so have to adjust several times until finally right. Once adjusted it is awesome, really a great tool to have. I would suggest having clips to hold the stem at the correct height so you can easily set the magnet correctly the first time, maybe clips to hold the magnet too before tightening down.

Using it on 6.5cm with h4350 it is not repeatable. All powder charges were verified on a sartorius scale with resolution to 0.02 grain, about 1 kernel of powder. The daa powder check sometimes sounded off and sometimes not on verified charges.
After the powder was weighed on the sartorius scale the case was filled thru a forester long neck powder funnel then placed back in the Dillon 750 for further cycle . The first of which was the daa powder check.
The brass end of the daa powder check would not fit thru the case neck so I had to use the plain rod end. There should be something in between using the plain steel end of the rod and the supplied larger brass end which was too big for the 6.5cm case neck. A bigger foot over the plain steel rod end may have been more repeatable.
Also the sensitivity of finding the sweet spot of the alarm can be a pain to find with the rod setting on a good powder charge. By the time you get the wrench into the magnet set screw you are compressing the powder charge, which makes the adjustment of the magnet void. Even pulling the rod out, marking magnet location and then adjusting magnet position was no help. They should have kept the sensitivity adjustment screw on the unit itself, or one that fine adjusts the center point of the go and no go point of the height range.
In short they need to come up with another brass end that will fit 223 and 6.5, they need to come up with a fine screw adjustment on the daa not the rod that adjusts the center point of the magnet sweet spot of the desired powder charge. As it now comes it may be 50% reliable, but 50% for a alarm is not acceptable. Concept is good, it just is not ready for prime time, needs more refinement. Tried for a 50% rating in stars like the unit performs but the program will not allow, so I settled at 2.

Awesome addition for your safety! Well made, and very easy to adjust for close monitoring of your powder charges during the reloading process.

I got 2 of the powder checker as I have 2 Dillon 750 one set up for 9mm the other .44mag target loads . Dont need it for the 9mm as 5gr fills the case so a quick look you can see its ok or not but it takes that one point off the check list . Case feed . Primer. power ( no need ) bullet head .
but as for the .44mag set up for 7gr in that case you can not see so before I got this I had to look with a torch through the die hole that this checker now fits.
I feel a lot safer now knowing that the right charge is in the cases .
it is easy to set up too
