The Vaultek LifePod 20 Biometric is a full-size, TSA-approved biometric gun safe built for shooters who need secure, portable handgun storage on the move. This weatherproof travel case is equally at home in your car, your range bag, on a boat, or packed into checked luggage.

Built on the proven LifePod platform, the LifePod 20 steps up to accommodate full-size handguns while keeping the rugged, lightweight character the series is known for. The shell is moulded from Vaultek's custom T3 polymer blend, strong enough to take a knock yet light enough that the whole pistol safe weighs just 3.3 lbs. Side compression latches and an inner gasket seal the interior against the elements, making this portable gun safe water resistant, airtight, dustproof, and buoyant. It floats.

Access is fast and intuitive. The water-resistant biometric fingerprint scanner stores up to 20 unique prints, while the backlit, touch-activated Smart Sense capacitive keypad offers over 8,000 possible combinations and a quick-press lock action. Vaultek's signature anti-impact latch resists accidental opening from drops, and an optional anti-pick feature adds a further layer of security. The case meets TSA guidelines for travelling with a handgun, so it is ready to fly with you.

Dual-Layer Handgun Storage

The removable interior tray divides the case into two working layers. Keep the tray in to organise sub-compacts alongside your EDC, or lift it out entirely to seat a full-size pistol or larger items. Three pieces of high-density crate foam let you tailor the fit and pressure so contents stay put in transit. A pre-installed lid organiser adds five card pockets, a mesh pocket, a small-paper pocket, and a dedicated Apple AirTag pocket (AirTag not included) so you can track your gun safe anywhere.

Power and Backup Access

The LifePod 20 runs on a single 9V alkaline battery (not included). A front rubber keyhole cover conceals an integrated micro-USB port that powers the unit should the battery die, and two backup manual keys provide mechanical entry. Even without a battery, the LifePod 20 still functions as a fully sealed weatherproof case.
