I recieved my CED 7000 shot timer a few weeks ago and have used it several times. My primary use is for analysing police recruits and their draw speed in the initial stages of their firearm training program. It has shown the instructors the recruit's progress but more importantly the recruit's see they are capable of drawing quickly when time matters to save their lives. The CED 7000 has all the functions needed to assess a shooters speed though out a course of fire and the added bonus of assessing mag change times, draw to fire(accurately)and more functions I haven't had time to use. I intend to expand the use of the CED 7000 to as many areas as I can for our training program with all our services officer's. I would recommend the CED 7000 to all shooters and trainers who can use the functions to assess their skills or the member's they train. I would also recommend if you are a North American purchaser of this product that you specify the proper power cord for your area...I got one that doesn't match our power outlets but was able to buy a cheap converter. Great training tool and a well made product... one of our services members has had a CED 7000 for three years without a problem.

Seems to be of strong material and well padded for the guns best. My .40 S&W has adequate space (not too much, not too little). One thing I am missing is a place to write something on it or a window for inserting a note or ID card.

This book is a perfect complement to Brian Enos masterpiece "Practical shooting - beyond fundamentals" (or vice versa).
While BE writes about "shooting" this book covers the other aspects of IPSC.

The one product I keep on me at ALL times!
I have tried many other lotions to keep my hands from loosing a grip on the gun, but ProGrip seems to be the only one that gives me the right coverage and without powdering.
For me it's a must!

I have to say that out of all coaching books, this is one I always go back to. The section about mental preparation there is written in a way as if Saul himself was there next to you, coaching you.
It is rare to find someone from our sport writing in such details about everything that goes through a competitor's mind while competing, and this one has surely helped me "survive" some major matches.
Thank you Saul!
