Great upgrade! A little sanding but it's a great fit and doesn't break the bank.

A lot more comfortable than my old style daa belt system. I'm not fat but I'm not skinny and I bought a couple extra just because I didn't trust the measurements. Well it was exactly what the calculator said I needed for my waist size so now I have extras for someday. I rock 3 mag Pouches- and an everglades MRH on my belt for heavy open guns and it's a lot better for all day wear for sure.

I believe this is a great powder check. But for my purposes it just doesn’t work very well. I use very fine powder and a very small charge. This makes it extremely difficult to adjust. I haven’t been able to get it set up properly. Double alphas customer service is A+ though. I’ve corresponded via email and they gave me some things to try but all in all, it still isn’t working. I just don’t think its right for my application. I would still recommend it for the average reloader though!

I was surprised by how sturdy these feel for being plastic. They have a good weight to them and can handle being dropped on the floor without getting damaged. They fit my Shadow 2 perfectly and fall out easily when the mag release is pressed.

I was having problems getting good lines on 9mm, and before I gave up, I ran a few 10mm through the unit with the same set up I was using with the 9mm. The 10's got good lines and I think it may have "settled" the pens, because the 9's worked well after that.
The feed chute spring tries to pull the unit up off the shelf in my present orientation, so I may try adding some clear tubing or something to give it some relief. Also, about 30% of the ammo was not flipped, but it does have marks so it will work.
The unit does work after some tweaking, and I really don't know of anything else that does what it does. Just watch the videos and have some patience with the set up.
