Dear Muhamed, the bottom part is separated from the top section by a removable velcro sturdy separator. If you would like to further partition the bottom part, the inner lining of the bag is entirely covered with Velcro so you can purchase some spacers from 3rd party suppliers and attach them to the bag's inner section - top or bottom.
Review:
This backpack has a few positive sides and some negatives. For example, on a positive note, it's sturdy, spacious, and has suitable additional compartments to fit pretty much all you need for range (e.g., patch tape gun, gun cleaning accessories, stapler, etc.). The downside is that it is quite expensive, and I honestly expected that the bottom part would have a separate compartment where you can place, let's say, a pistol in a DAA bag separately from other equipment, which would make it easier to extract it. This way, you must place every piece of gear on top of the other and shuffle things around. This is definitely not practical. And I would expect more practicality for this price.
