TSA in Seattle, WA just prevented me from getting on a plane with this case. They say the zipper excludes it from being a “hard sided case”. Nice case, but I bought it to travel and I’ll never travel with it again.

Firearms cases in checked bags should not have TSA locks in the USA. The idea is that only the owner is able to access the firearm with their unique key or combination.

Description:

The CED Carbon Fiber EVA Pistol Case combines all the great features desired in an EVA a case. A hard, protective and cool looking shell. Zippered and lockable with a TSA approved combination lock making it ideal for air travel. A handle for easy carry, and dense eggshell foam for complete protection of your valuable pistol.

Will fit one open class or two production pistols.

Will fit the lower compartment of the Rangepack Pro - IPSC/USPSA Range Bag.

How to set your private combination:

Make sure the lock is unlocked – default code is 0,0,0
Use a toothpick or pen to press down on the small button located on the top of the lock to the right of the locking tabs. A small click sound can be heard.
Rotate the dials to your chosen code. A clicking sound will accompany the rotation of the dials
Slide the unlocking lever left to set your combination and exit the setting mode. Your new code is now set.
You must have the correct code entered in order to use the above mentioned resetting button. Don’t forget your code!
