I’ve worked my way trough several brands/types of magazine pouches. DAA Racers are by far the best I’ve used. I love the adjustable retention. Adding a magnet provides a minimalist option for holding a starter mag, for holding a spare mag on unloaded starts (everything on the barrel/table), or for quickly securing a mag following stage completion. Buy at least one. You’ll be glad you did.

Great product, instructions and assembly could be better. Installing bullets out is a complete pain. A couple things do need to be more thought out.

The DAA Racer pouches by themselves, are fantastic, but when I got it, there was an extra screw in the package that I didn't know what to do with. I didn't realize that until I tried to assemble them "bullets out", that you needed to use that extra screw because the normal one has a head that is too large and when you turn the tension wheel, it will grind down the teeth. This screw wasn't mentioned at all in any of the 4 instruction manuals I received with the 4 pouches I ordered, so I didn't realize it until I had already screwed up one of the tension wheels. I had to look online where people had mentioned this before realizing what it was for. I hope DAA reprints and is able to label which screws to use for which parts.

Also, when installing bullets out, there is no cut out going through the entire pouch like there is if you're doing bullets forward, so you can't simply stick an allen key through the entire pouch to tighten down the screws. You either have to drill a hole yourself, or stick an allen key through the bottom/top of the pouch and tighten 1/8 of a turn at a time which is incredibly painstaking and frustrating. And even when you attempt this, the top/bottom of the magazine pouch is too narrow. When you make one turn of the allen key, take it out, and then try to put it back in, the allen key won't engage the head of the screw.

Amazing product, but assembly for bullets out was not well thought out at all.

Great product. But It don't fit the G21 Mag. I'll use it for other mags.

I own probably 15 of these all mated with the alpha rail system. The first time i bought some i was concerned with how sturdy and tough they would be. After receiving them and using them in several matches all the concerns went away. Easy to adjust and set where you want. Add the correct insert to it and the mag slide in and out without problems and stay put while on the run. I have a complete set for any division i decide to run in for the match. Great product from a great company

I bought Racer Pouches. It's a great product, exactly as I expected for my Glock 17.

I have purchased numerous of these MAG pouches in both double and single stack for myself and the local shooting association. Great pouches that are easy to use and grips the magazines so tight that they will not fall out of the pouches during a COF. There are however no problem when you need to extract a magazine from the pouch when a reload is needed. Great adjustability. Highly recommended by me.
