I was really looking forward to getting this to keep the common used tools at hand. I wasn't too put off by the fact that the included screws are not the same size as the tools that are included (as mentioned in other reviews)... but I can overlook that (even though it only makes sense that Tab A should fit Slot A).
My biggest gripe on this is the way that it mounts to the vertical tube. The material is pliable enough that when you tighten the screws, the side opposite really do not tighten around the tube. Even when tightened as much as it can be (which is only so much, because the captive nuts spin), the holder can still spin and fall down the tube.
My next gripe is one of the holes for the hex key isn't large enough so it sits above all the others.
[DAA reply]:
Hi Brian,
You are right about the keys not fitting the screw in the product itself We will consider changing that for the next run. We always use Metric Screws in Europe, and the key set (which is a separate product by the way, are all Inch keys for the Dillon press).
Tool holder sliding: try to turn the spacer piece upside-down, inserting it from below. that will grip tighter. If not enough, one layer of black electric type around the pole where you wish to position it will surely prevent it sliding.
If one of your tool holes seems small, it is probably due to the rubber coating on that key being too thick. That rubber dip process is not very precise for thickness. Cut away a little of the rubber coating, and your key should seat like all the others.

Outrageous price for a semi-useful device. What is this, 25 cents worth of plastic? It is not easy to use, and I was forced to go down to five rounds at a time to get it to work. The front of the bullet struck against the lip of the mag and would keep all other shells from going in. Had to push the tip of the stuck bullet backwards into the mag, then push again to get maybe a couple more shells into the mag. I did not use a strip, but loaded the shells loose in the loader. Too much trouble for its value, and way over priced. Disappointed. You could never use this in the field under fire. It took me over two hours in a recliner, taking my time, to load ten 30 round AR mags.

Hi Alan,
Sorry you had such a poor experience using your Striplula.
You are mistaken to think this is a product which costs 25 cents to produce though. And besides, what you are paying for is not only the product, but the product development.
While your experience in using it was not good, this is the most successful product of its kind, as is attested to by the many awards it has won, and the many many tens of thousands sold by Maglula, the Israeli Manufacturer.

the tool holder does not fit the tube for the case feeder on my XL750, its loose, I had to wrap the tube with tape to use the holder. The wrenches don't hang straight in holder the holes in the holder are just a smidgen to large, a small beef but it bugs every time I look at it. The wrenches have a ball end that's a good thing but they don't work well, they bind up if uses at an angle, like the chrome plating is out of spec, just a little thick. I end up using my Bondhus set instead quite often. The closed end wrench works well but not on the powder measure, it wont go over the measure, an open end wrench would work better. All in all I wish I had purchased the Dillon set.
DAA reply:
Hi Kim,
Make sure the pole square-to-round adaptor is insert from below. It makes the fit tight on the round rod and prevent slide. But, as you have done, a little tape does solve that too
The wrench is a box-end wrench, closed design, as clearly shown. it must be closed to allow it to be so thin. And keeping it thin is critical to fitting in between the dies. cant have it both ways…. But sure, it does not fit over large items like powder checks. For that, you still do need an open end wrench.

this works very well, simple to use. combine it withe the feeder bowl and I don't need a $300 case feeder.

This loader bowl works well. I have been loading 6.5 Grendel, using the bowl set up for .223. The Grendel round uses the same parent case as the 7.62X39 so I was hoping it would feed the 6.5 cases, and it does. Just throw some cases in the bowl while the whole thing is sitting on the press and give it a swirl, the cases drop in just fine. This system is a better option than the Dillon case feeder for me, it's simpler to use and saved almost $300 on equipment.
