Purchased this for a Hornady LNL AP. It replaced the powder cop in station 3. Hands down this is an excellent AUDIO/VISUAL AID, especially when your progressive press is working at optimum volume, it preforms as specified. Well worth the extra safety it provides.

Important Note:
A hornady LNL AP press equipped with case activated powder drop & equipped with optional with PTX powder measure and expanders. The powder drop PTX must be positioned away from the strong magnet on the DAA powder check 2.0. Real estate is tight for positioning, but it is doable without operational interference with the primer tube or sizing, decapper die in station 1.

Yet another brilliant tool from DAA - easy to set up, reliable, dependable, and consistent - between this and the powder level alarm, powder worries are pretty much eliminated on my press.

Easy to set up and adjust for piece of mind reloading on progressive presses. This tool let's you work up rounds knowing that you have a correct powder charge in every one. Well worth it!!!!

I don’t understand why there are so many reviews with people having problems with this unit. It works flawlessly. I have it set up on a 6 pack pro and have had 0 issues. I just reloaded 1k rounds of .300 BLK and it worked like a champ. If you can’t get yours to work, then you did something wrong. Start over and re-adjust.

Took too many tries to get this thing to work properly. I have finally gotten to where I feel I can trust the it. I am experiencing a powder mess, seems like when the brass tip hits the powder it forces the powder to split out. I probably won’t buy this again.

Five stars for my purpose. I am loading 9mm with N320. The powder check installed easily and I immediately applied the zip tie hack to hold the sensor up so it enters the case more slowly ar the top of the stoke (as discussed in some forums). I have not had any powder blowing out of the case. It was easy to set up and find the sweet spot. All is well but no improper loads caught yet.

FYI This installation caused me to move the bullet seating operation to station 4. I once, by habit, inserted a bullet in station 3 but caught myself before jamming it hard into the powder check. I did however, jam it far enough that the micro switch flipped to the wrong side of the actuator disabling the powder check until I noticed what had happened.
