Good holster, fits my Tanfoglio limited perfect unlike other brands. Just needs a drop of locktide.

Being that the 1911 max needs a specific holster it was a big relief to be able to find a holster To fit the gun exactly!! The pdr series were good holsters but the best thing about daa is they listen and innovate and all the upgrades on the pdr 2 are great and make the holster great!!! The ball joint design is top of the line hands down!! It allows you to set the holster exactly to where you want it exactly!!! And being able to take it off the rail with out moving that adjustment is key! It makes all the difference not having to reset the entire holster to make a height adjustment it's!! And as always high quality the hanger is rock solid this is a great product!!

I have only used the holster in one single stack match with my STI USPSA .40. So far I'm very pleased. It accomplished what I had hoped it would, and that is some adjustability for draw angle as well as distance from my belt.
It does however seem to take some of the finish off the trigger guard, which seems to be where the holster grips the gun to keep it in place. That was also true of the kydex holster I replaced made by Bladetech.

I have been using this PDR PRO-II for about two months in competitions now and I am not very happy with it.
This holster was bought for my Tanfoglio Stock III Xtreme. Please note that this holster might be a lot better for a CZ SP01 or other guns, but for a Stock III it is not good at all.
First of all it does not fit the gun very well. It is marketed to fit Tanfoglio, but it is originally made for CZ SP01. I have attempted to re-shape and mold the kydex in order to create a better fit using a heat gun, but it did not make much of a difference. If i want a smooth quick draw the gun will not be seated securely and I have had it almost had it fall out on some more intense movements. If I tighten it enough to make the gun sit securely the draw will end up being horrible, the holster and belt will move with the draw.
The PDR Pro-II also shreds my poor Tanfoglio's ceramic coating to pieces, after just two months it looks like the gun has been in hard service for years, which is also because the kydex is not properly fitted. I wish I would have stopped using it after my first match, because it hurts seeing my precious expensive gun looking flayed.
Second, the belt hanger joint losens up after a while, and the angle I have spent hours on perfecting is suddenly not so perfect anymore and I have to redo it all over again. I also had to give the other screws some loctite in order to have them stay in place.
To sum it up: I really don't like this holster and I will have it swapped out for something better before my next competition. If you got a Tanfoglio stock III, dont buy it.
