The Mark7 11” High Speed Case Feeder plate is used in the Apex 10 case feeders. it is Similar, but not identical to the Dillon or Hornady Case feeder plates, and is the only one that can be used in your Mark7 High Speed case feeder, newly launched in 2021.
The plate rotates under the pile of brass, agitating the brass and feeding the cases into the pockets. These pocket then carry the cases up to the top of the case feeder, and if orientated correctly, allow them to fall out through the output chute. if the cases are upside-down in the pockets, they fall out the pocket back into the pile, before reaching the output chute. In this manner, the Mark7 11” High Speed Case Feeder outputs only cases with their bases down, as required for use in the reloading press.
The Mark7 11” High Speed Case Feeder plate includes a slip-clutch type center core, which helps prevent the motor from stalling in case the shell plate jams up. This slip-disc is factory adjusted and should not need tensioning in use.
The small pistol plate is recommended for use with 32ACP, .380 ACP, 9mm/38 Super. For 30 Carbine, use two of the spacer washers.
