I’ve been running a Hornady LnL with a Mr. BulletFeeder, and it turns out loaded rounds so fast I’m forever managing/emptying the output bin. Upon purchasing/using the DAA Output Chute & spring, I discovered that this inexpensive item has been some of the best money I’ve spent in a long time . ....

Works just fine on my Hornady AP. No more overflowing bins in a long loading session. This directs everything to a large tub I placed on the floor, and i deal with everything at the end. Great!

I couldn’t get it to not jam up. I tried putting the spring all the way in and out and no difference. I’m going to use the spring with my rollsizer instead of the tube.

works well for me, I apperciate the little bit of extra room it creates beside my press.

Opening should be a little bit wider so it could allow 40SW not to hang ocasionally .

Some sorte of angle regulation would also be nice...

This looks awesome, but will only work if you have a strong mount under your press. I do not, so I cannot use it.

This is the best $20.00 you can spend if you are loading on a progressive press. I now have two of these units set up so that as the loaded round ejects off the press I can grab it if I want to conduct a random OAL and case gauge verification but if not the spring assembly takes the loaded round...

The idea is nice, but even with a gradual slope I ended up with rounds setting eachother off. As the round goes down the spring it picks up a good amount of speed and smacks into the loaded round bin. Scared the crap out of me and sent shrapnel everywhere.

Cool and fun add-on works great for my 9mm and 223 reloading.

I use it for 45ACP. Probably one problem every 1k rounds. Negligible issue to deal with. I like it regardless.

DAA Output Chute and Spring

(10)
Manufacturers: Double-Alpha Academy

Description:

The DAA Output Chute can be attached to any reloading press, hanging onto the same bracket which usually holds the Akro-Bin, and replacing it.

The long, 120cm (47") feed spring enables you to run the ammo down to a container on the floor, sparing you the need to empty that bin as you reload, and uncluttering your reloading press.

This Output Chute is also designed to clip on below the output ramp of the DAA Automatic Brass Marker, and can be used there to output the ammo down to a container on the floor or below your workbench.

This Chute has been tested to work perfectly with all pistol caliber ammo (9-40), although some types of 0.45 bullets have been seen to hang up occasionally. It works well with .223 rifle ammo too. It is designed to handled loaded ammo, not brass, which is more likely to hang-up.

Upon purchasing/using the DAA Output Chute & spring, I discovered that this inexpensive item has been some of the best money I’ve spent in a long time . . . 1K+ loading sessions without needing to give a moment of thought to loaded rounds!! I simply modified the lid to a container to accept the output spring so it’s really just a matter of pulling the handle. Just buy it you will not be disappointed.

This is the best $20.00 you can spend if you are loading on a progressive press. I now have two of these units set up so that as the loaded round ejects off the press I can grab it if I want to conduct a random OAL and case gauge verification but if not the spring assembly takes the loaded round to a 30 or 50 caliber plastic ammo can with a 5/8" hole drilled into the top of it to store the rounds until I check them on my HUNDO 100 rd. cases gauge (that you can also purchased right here at DAA). I have loaded about 4000 rds so far using this system and LOVE it.....No more having to stop on a long load run to empty the loaded bullet bins.

IMO - for the value this item brings it is way under priced. Fits on all Dillon progressive loaders as well as the Mark7 Evolution and Revolution series and is not as bulky as the larger 3-D printed Output Chute that requires a 2" tube attachment.
