These work perfect for plastic or aluminum ar mags. I do have a suggestion. Since the angle is straight up down I think it would be neat to make a more universal system with cordura stretch material so I can fit my AK mags. Also a more quick mount system so a customer is not having to whip out...

Very easy to fit and adjust, needed the thicker shims for the .22lr mags. excellent combination and makes for much faster mag changes

Amazing stuff!! i searched long and hard because i wanted to get the good stuff the first time, everything is of the highest quality and well thought out, My mag changes are quick and smooth, my only issue is that i use a 2" safelife belt and it required me to mod my AR pouch to fit my 2" belt...

Bought 2 to use with our S&W 15-22 magazines. Contact Alpha Academy and ask for “the filler inserts” they are inserts that are a bit thicker then the stock inserts - they swap out easy and allow the tightener to snug down on the 15-22 mags. These work great!

I like the price and overall the pouch design. I dislike the mounting system. It’s weak and at times difficult to attach. If it was made slightly thicker it would be less flimsy. Even better if it was made out of aluminum like the race master. I’ve had the pouch dislodge itself from my belt by...

Description:

Most AR-15 mag pouches have their roots in tactical or military applications. Not this one! DAA set out to create a totally new competition orientated pouch for the AR-15, and we are very proud of the result, the DAA AR-15 Racer Pouch!

The pouch borrows its design from the well proven and popular DAA Racer pistol pouches, and is adjusted in size and form to the AR-15 magazines. The aluminum wheel, leaf spring and pressure spacer provide tension adjustment, and you can adjust the release as you wish. The magazine can be inserted into the pouch with bullets either facing forwards or backwards; the fit is equally good in both directions, with cutouts provided for the mag catch form on both sides of the pouch body. This pouch works with both polymer and metallic AR-15 mags.

Supplied as standard with our Alpha Rail System, the pouch can be adjusted for tilt or exchanged for a pistol pouch or shotshell holder.

These work perfect for plastic or aluminum ar mags. I do have a suggestion. Since the angle is straight up down I think it would be neat to make a more universal system with cordura stretch material so I can fit my AK mags. Also a more quick mount system so a customer is not having to whip out the screwdriver and take 5 minutes to mount and un mount these for those who don't have many belts. For me these are on a dedicated belt and they work perfect in that sense!

Even better if it was made out of aluminum like the race master. I’ve had the pouch dislodge itself from my belt by being bumped into a wall. I then had to remove my belt to reinsert it. The mounting ears won’t slide in correctly if you try to attach it fast to the mounting system.
