Works great, almost flawlessly.

Double Alpha should make a primer tray that fits the internal dimensions of the DAA Primer Fill so one can invert the Primer Fill Unit into the primer tray and just flip it, problem solved. The current DAA Primer Tray (sold separately) will not fit the inside...

There are a number of things worth noting on the Primafill. First, this thing is robust! It is by no means a flimsy plastic product. It is assembled with Torx fasteners, they could have easily cut corners using pins or snap together construction. The switch is metal and the motor is powerful. The...

It works very well with small pistol primers (cci and s&b), it takes only a few seconds to fill a tube. Practical and reliable, I’m very satisfied

This is a great primer tube filler. I did some practice fills with it to figure out how much you need to slant the tray to get the primers to feed in the Channel and down the tube.
The videos are a good place to start. It will feed them fast if you take your time and do not let the primers make a...

I have had the Franklin vibra primes, old and new style, the Dillon and have sevrral pick-up tubes. This is the easiest I have ever used.
Be sure to watch the primers as they enter the tube as rarely they will flip over. I just stop and remove the tube and turn rhe primer over then continue.

Works very well. Upon receiving it, I inserted a Dillon primer tube and tried it out. Had a minor issue with primers flowing smoothly into the tube, so I looked into the hole and discovered a few very tiny piece of plastic flashing. Took a small dowel and wrapped some 800 grit sandpaper around it...

This device works good, It works the best when you hold it on the side away from the primer tube so it vibrates the most. Yes I would recommend it to a friend

A bit costly after buying the needed extra primer tubes but it works well. I have noticed some brands of primers feed better than others but it's still much faster than loading tubes the old way

This is exactly what I have been looking for! If there is one thing that makes reloading uninteresting for me it is loading primer tubes. So much so that I bought a dozen tubes and fill them when I am not busy. I could never justify spending $300 plus on other solutions and I even tried to build...

So far I like it. It can be a little finicky when flipping primers due to pattern of the ridges, but overall it works well. Those last few primers are usually going to have to be flipped by hand, otherwise you end up flipping some in the wrong directions. As to filling the tubes, get the angle...

I would give 5 stars but for the fact the lid doesn't have any kind of latch. It's a bit cumbersome to ensure you keep the lid on. It's not extremely difficult, but the fact it's floppy and just resting there by pressure alone is a little disconcerting knowing you could spill a full sleeve of...

Works great, almost flawlessly.

Double Alpha should make a primer tray that fits the internal dimensions of the DAA Primer Fill so one can invert the Primer Fill Unit into the primer tray and just flip it, problem solved. The current DAA Primer Tray (sold separately) will not fit the inside deminsions of the Primer Fill.

One you get the nack of controlling the unit, left to right and front to back when loading the primers into the primer tube, you can fill the tubes very fast. It's all practice, beats doing it by hand.

I see complaints about the primers flipping in the tray while loading a primer tube, simple fix to that problem. Just press down on the units lid with slight finger pressure and the primers will not flip over. I have noticed that the primers that flip do so while vibrating agains the large primer block piece directly opposit the small primer tube hole that you are filling. Pressing down on the cover of the DAA Primafill solves the problem.

When the primers get stuck while entering the primer tube use your case neck deburring tool to smooth it out. If the deburring wasn't the problem, do not tilt the unit so severely towards the primer tube you are filling hold it more level.

There are a number of things worth noting on the Primafill. First, this thing is robust! It is by no means a flimsy plastic product. It is assembled with Torx fasteners, they could have easily cut corners using pins or snap together construction. The switch is metal and the motor is powerful. The body is soft touch plastic making it easy to hold especially for my dry calloused hands. The magnetic gate for blocking the unused port is a novel idea and further shows the thought and care that went into the design of the product. In addition, it sits flat and stows easily on the bench whether in or out of the box in any orientation. This is a key factor for me, I despise an accessory that consumes excessive storage space.

Functionally it does what it is designed to do and it does it well. I hate the mundane task of filling primer tubes by hand, especially ten at once the Primafill does so in seconds even with the ‘sticky’ WSP & WSR primers.

Overall it is a great value especially when compared to the cheaper Asian made pistol grip products. I have zero regrets with spending a little more for a quality product.

Could it be better? Yes. Here are my recommendations for Primafill V2:
The soft touch surface is nice but it seems like every product I’ve owned over the years with this coating has degraded into a sticky mess. Admittedly most have been Asian made, I hope that doesn’t happen with the Primafill but consider alternatives like maybe molded in stippling similar to to that on Magpul grips. Secondly, it really needs some means of holding the cover on. How about a couple of tiny magnets in the lid? Finally, and this is a big one, do away with the washboard style of ribs and go with concentric circles like conventional primer trays. Maybe you have your reasons for doing it this way but the washboard orientation makes flipping frustrating at times. Maybe you need a combination so that the flow path works correctly, straight on the side where the full ports are and circular over the rest of the surface. Two shakes of my RCBS tray and all my primers are flipped. The Primafill takes several and can be a game a times. And one last gripe, would it break the bank to include a few 8mm tube caps with the product? I bought a bag of 100 from Amazon for less than 10USD. Not a deal breaker by any means but even two caps would have been handy to have to get started.

Finally, this being my first DAA product purchase I can say after using it and seeing what thought went into the design, I wouldn’t have any reservations about purchasing future DAA products.

The videos are a good place to start. It will feed them fast if you take your time and do not let the primers make a traffic jam. Think of it like a pencil stream of water you want to run in the hole.
All I can say is that it works great once you figure out what angle you need to hold the unit.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! If there is one thing that makes reloading uninteresting for me it is loading primer tubes. So much so that I bought a dozen tubes and fill them when I am not busy. I could never justify spending $300 plus on other solutions and I even tried to build one myself until it dawned on me I had more time developing a solution that I would have filling tubes for the next ten years! This is a cost effective answer, and you only need one large and one small primer tube...EVER!

This works as advertised and is very fast. When you run out of primers, it takes literally 30 secs to load a tube and continue.

If I have any criticism at all, it is that large rifle match primers sometimes jam up at the exit hole. Non-match and standard primers are fine. A gentle tap or pulling the tube out about 1/8" clears the jam. Everything else runs through like a greased pig!

I am buying a second for my son as a stocking stuffer this year.

Thanks ALPHA for identifying a need and developing a great cost effective solution.

Watch the video is is very slick.

Those last few primers are usually going to have to be flipped by hand, otherwise you end up flipping some in the wrong directions. As to filling the tubes, get the angle right and they flow right in without issue. So far I've used it with CCI, Federal and Fiocchi. CCI and Federal are a breeze, but because of the way they're packaged, Fiocchis are a little more of a pain, but once the tray is ready they fill the tubes just fine. It seems well built and overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I think it's a hard to beat time saver for the money.

I use a lot of Fiocchi primers that appear to be ever so slightly larger than CCI or Federal, this causes an occasional slight hesitation. By touching the primer tube on my bench the device shakes a little more vigorously and down they go, in the correct orientation too. I also like not having to add a magnet to the end of the primer tube to function with this loader.

It's not extremely difficult, but the fact it's floppy and just resting there by pressure alone is a little disconcerting knowing you could spill a full sleeve of primers. I've noticed it goes through 9v batteries fairly quickly as well. Keep a good supply of batteries on hand if you are doing several thousand at a time. I'd strongly consider a rechargeable.

I have used the hornady, frankford arsenal, and now the primafill primer loaders in that order. The hornady would not load large winchester primers no matter what mod I tried. The frankford was the same result with the winchester primers, only worse. Then I bought the DAA primafill. It loaded small primers, but not the large winchester primers again. But once I used a vld reamer, or chamfer, on my dillon tubes the winchester primers flew in the tube. So I chamfered all my large dillon tubes and no hicups with the winchester large primers. After doing some research on the net I found out that a lot of people were having problems with winchester primers with whatever loader they were using. Well, the primafill now handles winchester primers perfectly, every time. I couldn't be happier, especially after fighting to find something that will handle large primers for the past year. I also put a slight vld chamfer on all my small dillon primer tubes to make the primers fall in even faster. I would highly recommend the primafill to anyone who doesn't want hand peck to fill their primer tubes.
