The rod protrudes a little bit when tightend pushing the body adaptor against the holster to the disadvantage of the fit. This can be solved by just filing the material away and just be careful not to damage the thread of the screw. It would be necessary to use locktite of some glue to fix the rod firmly in the adaptor. Without that it will eventually loosen specially if the mounting of the muzzle support requires it to be at an angle to the axis of the holster. I wished that there was a choice in length of the rod, for example long, medium and short. In my case I have to cut it loosing the nice rounded end.

I've now loaded about a thousand rounds of .38 special and 9mm combined, with both lead and jacketed bullets. The machine I'm using is the Hornady Lock-n-Load progressive, First let me say that I'm very happy with the Mr. Mini it has made the job so much easier, the projectiles get a light tap into the case and are perfectly straight so there is no problem with them shaking out between stages. The Mr. Mini came with a powder through case expander witch is beautifully finished and specially designed to provide exactly the right amount and shape of expansion for the bullets to sit in, I wish that I could use it but unfortunately it is made to fit a Dillon powder thrower, if they ever come out with one to fit the Hornady I will certainly get it. The Mr. Mini can be improved, 1) it could do with a micro switch beeper to let you know that it's time to rotate to the next tube, this should be an optional extra for those that can afford it, and 2) on a couple of occasions when there was just 4 or 5 bullets to go the body of the feeder got stuck on the up stroke and released all the remaining bullets at once, I'm dealing with this by placing a small lead weight on top of the unit to keep it heavy enough to always slide down like it should. Overall I would and in fact have recommended this bullet feeder to my friends.

Outstanding service from Double Alpha Academy - only 3 days between order and safe delivery to Scotland. I decided to buy a timer after watching Jerry Miculek's videos on YouTube, particularly his V-drills, and I now know exactly how much faster I need to be. This timer is easy to use after studying the manual a little. I wish I had bought it years ago. It adds to the fun-factor and demonstrates clearly where you need to work to improve your performance.
