This is the 3rd insert block for my Race Master Holster.
Same as usual, easy to install. Takes me 1 minutes and all set to go. Used it for almost a year and not a single mulfunction.

Very handy for those "pick up and go" stages. The magnets are very strong, but if you pull the mag up as from a normal mag pouch, it releases smoothly.

I bought this for training and I'm really pleased with it. When shooting alone the variable start delay lets you press the button and then react to the random wait time which keeps changing to keep you on your toes! Listen for the B of Beep, as Saul tells us in his training DVDs.
Protective silicon sleeve is a good idea and comes in a variety of colours, you can pick one so awful that nobody will steal your timer!

Saul has written the best books I have read on IPSC shooting.
Thinking Practical gives you a detailed run through the business behind becoming a better Practical Pistol shooter. I say behind because this is not a book filled with shooting technique, although there are some good ones mentioned, this book is all about approaching the sport with a view to winning or at the very least getting much closer to winning. I have experience of some of the techniques he discusses from another sporting career but Saul makes the entire game of Practical fit into place so well in this book that it has blown me away.
Perfect Practice is a great range companion which will ensure your practice sessions give maximum value for your efforts. Saul's years of experience competing at the top of the sport are distilled into sections that outline things to practice - its well explained, really practical and tells you how to address problems. If you were only to buy one training book then this is it.

I'm delighted with the shell sorter, it took me no time at all to sort about 10kg of 9mm brass from the recycling bin at our local club. My pals who shoot 40 and 45 also got lucky as I kept these seperately for them (that's what friends are for, right?) Here are my tips:
1. Really cheap Russian 9mm ammo with steel cases is quite common here, if you encounter this you will need a large magnet to remove it from the sorted cases.
2. For ultrasonic cleaning the sorter tray is a great aid to rinsing cases if you put it in the sink and shake under running water. Its also good for shaking off water afterwards.
3. The sorter fits so tightly into a standard plastic bucket that you don't loose any media if shaking after tumbler cleaning, so there's no need for an expensive "bingo drum" media seperator, the shell sorter and a £1.50 bucket is all you need.
In summary - If you reload then you should have this great piece of inexpensive kit!
