The base pads are well made, but on the size limits to fit the box on the minimum dimensions - might be tight for some. The tolerances between the base pads and the magazines differ quite a lot - appears to be the tolerances on the magazines are a lot more than on the pads. Because of this the one magazine/pad combination pinches the spring and causes jams.

This is probly the best mount out there for the Aimpoint Micro. I have this mounted on a Tanfoglio Gold Custom. Fits just perfect. The fit is just the same for Tanfoglio as for the 1911 as the pictures show.

Nice finish, excellent quality, fits like a glove and with the engravements on them, well, they are really nice to say the minimum.

I´m very pleased with this Hex Key Set. Excellent quality, good finish, reliable and precise. The only suggestion I´ld make is that an additional Hex Key could be provided where the short side of it could be even shorter (cut). This way, I could used it to access the Race Master Hanger Angle Screw out in the range without having to remove the alluminum body and the firearm from the holster. I had to manufacture (cut one regular sized hex wrench) one my self and incorporate it to my Hex Set. Nevertheless, I´m very pleased with this product, no questions about it!

This was a great invention. What a product! I have one for my STI EXECUTIVE, one for my S&W 610 N Frame (S&W625 insert) and anxiously waiting to have one for my Taurus 889 (K Frame). The Race Master Holster with which I felt in love with plus this handy and cost saving insert, I put my other set of CR Speed Holsters aside.
