I'm new to the sport and went with this rig based on reviews, homework, other shooters and the DAA website.
The team at DAA both corrected my order for me AND supplied the holster already set up in left hand for me.
After spending a load of time in it I'd like to submit the following:
1)Everything is supplied (wrenches, instructions)plus reviewing their Youtube tutorials makes it go a lot smoother
2)Soft thread lock the adjustment bolts on the holster. With maximum adjustability comes maximum chance for your gun to end up upside down if you're not careful..
3)Definately go up on belt size as recommended
4)You can have the mag pouches tight enough to stay in place yet fine tune adjust before locking everything up after you use them for awhile
Great product and still quite excited to use them!

Strong and durable, also very light weight. Makes my draw a hole lot faster.

I just started in this sport and from the start I wanted to have good equipment to help do this sport.
With the rig builder it was easy for me to build what I needed.
One remark I have is that the belt was very long.
In the description, they tell you to measure your waist and do not go by the size of your jeans.
So I wear size 38 Jeans, but I measure mine waist with a measuring tape and it was 42\", I added the 2\" and order a 44\" belt.
When I\'ve received the belt, I measure it and it was 54\" long!
So it\'s kind of bulky on mine waist now.
If you going to order, better ask them about the size issue, before you order!
[DAA reply]: The 44\" belt has a 9.5\" overlap which is correct and should be like that. It is very clearly mentioned in the product description.
Other then that, it\'s OK. It came fast and the quality of the product is GOOD.

Nice rig. Easy to build. Nice touch with the extension rod to support the barrel. Very complete delivery included tools to set up. Hope during the coming months it will meet my expectations in use.

I bought the rig builder outfit with a pro belt, four racer magazine pouches, and the PDR-Pro holster. The pro belt and magazine pouches are well built and very functional. I am very pleased with the product. However, when setting up the kit and practicing I found that I have two problems with the PDR-PRO holster. First the inside of the holster had a rough spot that scratched the slide on my new STI edge 40 S&W pistol the first time I used it. I smoothed the area at the lip of the holster and applied black electric tape to the inside to prevent any more scratches. Secondly the rim of the holster pushed against the Dawson supplied magazine release. This results in dropping the magazine on the draw or after the first shot. Therefore, I used a Dremel tool and removed some of the material from the body side of the holster to eliminate the problem. It can no longer touch the magazine release and cause the problem. I suggest that you modify your design to accomplish the same result.
