Would have been five stars except if you live in a dry climate the plastic tip causes static cling and powder comes out of the case and than drops. You can used the other end but than it is a small tip area and seems to push into the powder. Should have made the tip out of brass to get rid of this issue (wish you would offer the tip as as a after market part you can buy and replace the plastic tip). You can try to used static guard and spray the tip or dryer sheets but neither one work for me.

[DAA Reply]: As of Sep 1st 2021, the plunger tip is made out of brass which should solve issue.

Easier to setup than the Dillon powder check. Really light the bright red LED with the audio alarm. No false alarms if no brass case at the powder check station. Cost less then the Dillon too.

I received the Magnetic Powder Check die and it is well made. I tested it on a single stage press and it works fine. I am sure it will be great on my Mark Seven Apex 10 when I receive the press.

Great product easy to set and reliable. I installed mine on a Hornady AP had to modify by shorting a couple threads.

Great product, works flawlessly. I have a Dillon XL1100 with the Dillon powder check, not happy with it. The Double Alpha unit is far superior.

I'm using mine on a Dillon 650 for 300 blackout and no powder spillage at all. I also converted mine to a direct plug in power source so never have to worry about a battery. It uses a 6VDC and 11A battery and found a 6VDC and 10A power supply on Amazon.
