I was sceptical about upgrading from the last holster as I'm not some great shooter but what the hell...you only live once, so...this new Alpha X is definitely better. Its so much easier to set up, sits better against the body and its smoother in operation. I am able to draw out of it easier and whilst practicing draws...in/out becomes super easy. This new Alpha X and the last holster might look very similar but they are not. I don't know why but I felt safer using the Alpha X...go figure...I definitely recommend it. Ok Alpha Academy lets see you improve on this one...

The best holster in the market by far. The insert system is the most secure AND perform I have used. We only need to pratice, the holster do the rest...! And it is "OUT OF THE BOX"! No need to adjust anything! Plenty adapted to up to day issius: we need minus time -more response...

The DAA Alpha-X Holster is the only way to fly. I could not have imagined they could have improved on the "Race Master Holster", but they did it, and did it big time.

WOW, what an improvement!
The Race Master holster while well built, had issues with the locking screws and constant movement.
The Alpha-X with its beefed up locking screws has more than solved this problem...........all in all a huge update to an already excellent Holster!
