Outstanding! I bought the mini case feeder, bowl, and spare tube assembly. Thrilled with all of it. Best upgrade I've made to my 550. Sped up my reloading time quite a bit not having to take my hand off the handle. Buy this, you won't be sorry!

Excellent product!
I did have to grind down my primer housing to make the shell case feeder track roller fit properly, but in the end, it was worth it.
Switching calibers is easy and fast, so the total changeover process is still pretty quick.
My only complaint is that I can't crank the press as fast as before because the shells will move and not up with the resizing die, and get stuck.
I have to slow down in the middle of the crank action to keep the shells positioned properly on the shell plate. Still was faster then before and I really like that I can keep my hand on the crank during the process.

I really love this case feeder. I have the case feeder from Dillon but much prefer the Double Alpha. I use it for 9mm, 45ACP, 357 Mag, 300 Blackout and after making some modifications it works for 45 Long Colt. I am now modifying a feed tube and case slide adapter to allow it to feed 6MM ARC. It is very versatile and easy to make custom modifications. One of my problems with the original Dillion case feeder was that it was too tall for my basement location. The Double Alpha case feeder is that it is shorter and I was able to modify the case feeder tubes to accommodate my reduced ceiling height. It is really a creative piece of engineering. I happened to come across this by chance and decided to give it a shot. Once I got it set up and adjusted, it worked very well. Assembly wasn't difficult, but it did entail partially disassembling parts of the press for installation. The upper drop assembly also required a little trimming of the plastic to fit properly, but this modification was noted as a possibility with some presses, probably depending on how old they were. I ran 500 38 special cases thru, just sizing and depriming and it went very quickly. This will greatly speed up the process. The only real downside to this is if you want to switch from pistol to rifle brass the whole thing has to come off because the bottom shell feeder is in the way. If you were only doing a few, you could reach around the brass feeder to put the shells in, but I reload in batches. Its a minor inconvenience, I just have to make sure I do all the pistol reloading I want, then switch. I would like to see if I could run 32acp thru this. I may scan, modify, and 3d print a new shell adapter based on the 380 adapter and see if it works. For the cost and results produced, this is a great upgrade for the press.

I purchased two of these for my Dillon 550C presses and I had to modify the mount because of the lip on the 550C. I used a dremel tool which made it easy to make the slight modification. After the modification, the feeder was up and running fantastic! I highly recommend that you also purchase the Case Feeder Loader Bowl to make loading the tubes easier. I received all my parts in perfect shape and love how the Mini Case Feeder is making reloading so much easier.
