DAA Ratchet Belt End Cover

The DAA Ratchet Belt End Cover provides a simple and practical solution for shortening your existing ratchet belt while maintaining a clean, professional finish.

Simply cut your belt to the desired length and install the end cover over the freshly cut edge. The cover neatly conceals the cut, prevents the belt material from fraying, and provides a secure mounting point for your existing ratchet ladder strap.

A quick, affordable way to resize your DAA Ratchet Belt and keep it looking as good as new! 

Installation Instructions

Tools required:

• Hacksaw (to shorten the belt)
• Drill with a 7 mm (9/32") drill bit
• Hammer

Step-by-step installation:

1. Measure carefully: Determine how much length you need to remove from your belt. Double-check your measurements before cutting.
2. Remove the ladder strap: Unscrew and remove the existing ratchet ladder strap and its threaded insert.
3. Cut the belt: Using a hacksaw, carefully cut the belt to your desired length.
4. Mark the new hole: Slide the Ratchet Belt End Cover over the freshly cut end. Mark the position of the hole required for the threaded insert.
5. Drill the hole: Remove the end cover and drill a hole at the marked position using a 7 mm drill bit. The exact hole diameter is not critical.
6. Install the threaded insert: Using a hammer, tap the original threaded insert into the new hole from the inner (Velcro) side of the belt. Knock it into place so it’s teeth bite into the belt.
7. Reassemble: Slide the end cover back into position, insert the original ladder strap into the external pocket of the cover, and secure everything using the original screw.

 That's it! Your DAA Ratchet Belt is now shortened to your preferred length, with a neat, protected end and the same ratchet adjustment functionality as before.
