I have recently purchased the thumb rest. I used a costume made thumb rest up until now.
the installation was easy and fast, the product can be adjusted to various positions that are perfect for my grip.
Shipment was fast.
Another good perches from DAA.
Thanks Saul, Eli and Rob.

It's sturdy and has some level of adjustment.
It would be interesting if it could be inverted and be used in a lower position and be more suited for smaller hands.
You get a well construted and very important piece with this Thumb Rest. It's well worth the money.

Another fantastic product from Double Alpha.
Installed in minutes.
I simply slipped a M4 nut over the end of the bolt. Cut the excess off the bolt and removed the nut. No messing around and a clean cut bolt.
The perfect finishing touch to my 1911.
Thanks Double Alpha

Fits perfect ot the c-more - holes. Helps evidently to find the right grip immediately after drawing and reducees muzzle-moving.
* Sometimes the - provided long - screws will have to be shortened.
* With a more backword position - for small handed shooters like me - you have to detach the item before removing the slide-catch and disassembly of the gun. So you need to apply a removeable screw-securing (locktite) before every shooting activity.
* A type of construction that leaves the base-plate in place with a larger travel of the thumb rest, is suggested.

Could make the mounting hole pattern different for more option. I have small hands, so I drilled up the two first wholes a little so that I could get it as far back as possible on my Tanfo Lim.Custom GK
But you then need to remove the slidestop with a Henning og EGW slidestop instead!
I also cut the adjusting screw a litte on the back side for allowing the full use of the thum paddel.

The screws, when screwed to the end, interfere with the action on my pistol - Tanfoglio LC II. You have to file the crews in order for the pistol to function.
Also, I have small hands, and the thumb rest is a little too far for my reach.

This thumbrest is very good, but a little bit too far forward! The screws that came with it are very handy.

Does fit to Tanfoglio, except for the provided screws which are too long and block the action. Had to shorten them, not easy as they're tiny.
Tip for DAA to provide tailor-fit screws for Tang'f as well.

The DAA Adjustable Thumb Rest is possibly the next step in "must have" items for IPSC Standard Class guns.
The unit was easy to install and adjust to fit my left hand when holding my gun.
I tested the unit by shooting two identical guns with the same .40 S/W load....and the Thumb Rest equiped showed significantly less muzzel rise and produced a tighter grouping of shots.
Now we can add the DAA Adjustable Thumb Rest to the list along with Steel Magwells,Fiber Optic Front Sights,Tungsten Guide Rods and Bo-Mar Adjustable sights
as MUST have items!
A great product and I think shows where IPSC is going.
