NPSA League match - Baexem 06

I don't usually do match reports from level II matches, but, since this is the off season, and since this past weekend much in Baexem was great fun, I decided to share it with you.

These past 6 weeks or so, since the US Open, I have been training mostly in Standard. I have these fantastic new STI Executive guns, just itching to get out of my safe and to the range. So, I decided that this off season I would train and compete in Standard. And I've been loving it!

It has been some time since I did serious Standard shooting. When I first started to shoot IPSC I did so in Standard for about 2 years. I won the Israeli Open in Standard in my second year out, and then bought my first Open gun (Para, 45) and never looked back. From time to time I would shoot some standard, but not often would I seriously train and compete in this division. So these past few weeks have been a welcome change.

The match in Baexem was, as always, excellent! 7 stages were shot with practically no waiting around. My squad started at 8am, and we were done by noon. Everything ran on schedule thanks to the super screw, reinforced by the willing and capable assistance and RO's from the UK. Thank you all for your efforts!

Creating 7 stages in just 2 shooting bays is no easy feat. not all the stages were interested - but they were all well laid out, and test skill in a balanced manner. the two big stages were both excellent - offering multiple tactical options, and some real challenges.

I hope the whole match with my hat-cam -and you are welcome to watch all 7 stages edited into one clip. I have created 2 files sizes, to suite your downloading speed. Enjoy.
