ear Double-Alpha Members and Subscribers,
We are pleased to present the 3rd issue of our DAA Zone. This issue, offers
even more content and interest than previous ones and that is thanks to our
many contributors. A special thanks to the USPSA for allowing us to use some
of their material, and to the top gunsmith Bob Londrigan who has allowed us
to use some of his material in this and future issues. A big thank you also to
the shooters who contributed their time to be interviewed or supplied us with
articles about their local matches. It's a real pleasure to witness the enthusiasm
and spirit of sharing and community in our sport today. Thank you one and all!
In this issue we include an interview with one of the greatest shooters in our
sport today - US Champion Max Michel. Max has won multiple US titles and Area
matches as well as the World Speed Shoot event several times. He talks with us
about his plans for the future and his training for the WS.
And we introduce you to Tori Nonaka, a rising star in the Ladies division in the
US, and one to watch closely at the WS later this year!
And Speaking of new Champions and rising stars, we have a great article from
the USPSA Front Sight about a new Super Star in our sport - Nils Jonasson of
Mesa Arizona. For those of you who didn't hear - Nils came to his first Nationals
this year - and own overall Limited! And against the best and biggest names in
our game! What an awesome achievement indeed! Nils will be one to watch in
coming years for sure.
Here at DAA we are working hard to finish the new Race Master Pouches every-
one has been asking for. We first showed them at Shot Show, and then at IWA -
and the interest has been overwhelming. We are working diligently to reach our
goal to start shipping early May, and so far are on track to do so. Stay tuned,
we will certainly announce it when they are finally ready.
Thank you again to the many who emailed us to show they appreciation for the
DAA ZONE project and to offer their help, contribution or recommendations. We
appreciate the feedback very much. Feel free to forward this issue to all your
shooting friends, or post links to it where and when you can.
On behalf of the DAA Team I wish you Excellent Shooting!
Yours sincerely,
Saul Kirsch.
