Technical 101 is by no means a beginners course. It is intended for experienced IPSC shooters who wish to improve their technical skills and expand their knowledge about the sport.
The focus of the course is technical, but we do discuss general aspect of IPSC training techniques, match preparation and stage analysis, since these are all interconnected.
This is a one day course of approximately 8 hours, 9am to 6pm with an hour break for lunch, and shorter breaks as needed. Each student will require 300 rounds of ammo.

Safety rules
Grip, stance and balance
Gun recoil control
Adapting your equipment to YOU
Accuracy in pistol shooting
The High Ready position
Target acquisition
The draw, various starts
Reloads
Turns, specialty draws
Moving between positions
The topics are explained, then practiced both with dry fire and live fire, with individual instruction and supervision. Each student gets feedback on his techniques, and suggestions on what and how he can improve. Practice drills are taught for each element, as well as more complex stages which combine these skills. Groups are limited to 10 students maximum to ensure individual attention and practice time.
