What students and training partners have to say:

Our goal at Double-Alpha Academy is to ensure that all our students  substantially benefit from our courses. We aim to bring our students to a new level of shooting performance by correct coaching and technique. Here are some comments from those who have trained with Saul in the past:

Angus Hobdell:
Former European champion and World shoot-off Champion. Angus and Saul have been good friends and training partners for many years. Angus had this to say:
"Training with Saul is a revelation, he finds a way of putting into words and motions things most people miss, he has an aptitude towards the physical and mental side of shooting second to none."

Max Michel: The US Army champion, and one of the top shooters in the world today. Max has won more Area matches in the USA over the past 2 years than any other competitor. Max and Saul train together every chance they get. Max had this to say about training with Saul:
"Training with Saul was a great experience because of his knowledge of the game. Not only is his shooting phenomenal, but his mental aspect of the game is also top notch. Over the past couple of years shooting with Saul I noticed he is very open minded and that is what makes him one of the best all around shooters in our sport today".

Yaron Hoory: Israelie shooter:
"I wanted to thank you for the 2 day training session which was very informative and impressive. It was obvious to me that you had put great thought into it and proves to me that you are a great teacher. The learning process is very complicated and telling someone what the correct way of doing things is one thing letting them reveal the correct way of doing things 'by themselves' is another; you have managed to do the latter for me that was very impressive. Building on that you left us with the tools necessary to improve our shooting technique. The words 'speed is economy of movement' took on a whole new meaning, the importance of studying and analyzing the 'center of gravity' the shoulders also took on a whole new meaning. I now understand that only by isolating the elements and working on each element by focusing on it can one truely advance. The whole is made of many parts, only by isolating the parts and working on the parts separately can one truly advance the whole.

Furthermore you have given us an insight into the mental aspect of this sport the process of knowing oneself the connection between the physiological aspects and the mental aspects and ideas on how one can best control the mental factor to ones advantage. The subconscious and the conscience, how can one work in the conscience mode in such a way that when switching to the subconscious mode the true art of shooting performance begins.

Thank you Saul
Yaron "

Yael Dagan: Israel's top Lady shooter and National champion:
"It's now my 5th course with Saul in a group, and every time it just gets better and better. Saul uses his experience and his great ability to teach others to produce one of the most interesting, well structured and great learning experiences during his courses. This gives me the tools I need to continue on and build a good training program for myself. Saul is by far, the best shooting coach I have ever had."

Sarit Helbetz:  B+ class Lady Shooter from Israel, with 2 years experience, who is on the learning curve and improving rapidly:
"The course with Saul was an experience I won't forget, I feel I gained a lot just from listening to a real proffesional expert such as Saul, let alone practicing his tips. I think it was an uplifting experience for all of us in the course, at all levels. Thank you Saul, (and Yael for the organization) Hope we have another meeting soon"

David Landeweer:  A class shooter, and Dutch Production Champion:
"Saul really knows what he's talking about. He can show you what technique to use, when to use and where to use it, decide for yourself how you want to gain an advantage. And after that he can show you how to prepare and how to get better. Great stuff, very useful and all in plain language."

Chris van den Hout: A class Dutch shooter, Open
"...thanks for the perfect training day!"

Marijan Loch, German A class shooter
"I'd like to thank you again for your great coaching on 30th November. It was a real pleasure to spend the day with you - I've learned a lot. Now I begin to think about some things in a different way. Yesterday I was able to achieve my first sub-second draw right at the center of the A-zone at 8 m with "the help" of the high ready position"
